Seattle

So as part of my birthday present, Patrick surprised me with a trip to Seattle! I grew up in a small town outside of Seattle called Kirkland. I love it there, it is always green, right by the water and always wet. Last summer I took Patrick there for the first time as his birthday present, we both loved it so much we couldn't wait to go back! So when I found out we were going I was ecstatic, I literally jumped up and down, I think Patrick got it on video - but we will not be posting that haha. 

We had such a nice relaxing trip catching up with old friends, breathing in the salty ocean air and wondering the streets of Seattle. It was wonderful.

The first evening we got in town we went straight to the Kirkland Marina with some friends to walk around and watch the sunset. This place is one of my favorites! 

The next day we went into Seattle and spent the day walking the city streets, starting at the water front and worked our way in until our legs were dead and our stomachs were growling. We ate some delicious pizza and made the beautiful trek back to the car through the beautiful city.

Hannah's Birthday

 For my birthday a couple of weeks ago, we went out to dinner with all of our friends for Italian food (my favorite!) It was so much fun to catch up with old friends and see friends that we possible see a little too often...  and I wouldn't have it any other way! It was a fun celebration!

The perks of having a birthday = free dessert and an opera lady who sings to you in Italian!
