A Weekend in Utah

We got to go to Salt Lake City for the weekend. It was such a nice break and so nice to see our family and friends again! Our main reason for going was so that my mom could throw me a baby shower, It was awesome and adorable! I don't have any pictures from it yet - sadly my phone will not let me take pictures anymore, so these are all taken form Patrick's phone.

It was so fun to spend so much time with our cute new nephew who we hadn't seen since he was born! Damian you are adorable!

Friday morning we went downtown with my family and did a little shopping

Friday afternoon and evening was spent down in Provo, we got to see some of our friends, went to a Parlor Hawk concert (Patrick's cousin is in the band), and spent time with the Herveys!

Patrick got to go to two sessions of General Conference with his family. (I got to stay home and watch it with my family)

More Damian Time!
Our long lost child.... Ethan.

On Sunday we took the back way down to Provo again through Park city and Midway. It's one of our favorite drives! The canyons were bursting with fall colors.

We miss them so much when we are away.

These two are going to be cousin daddy's very soon!

 All the Cousins
The cutest thing ever! He laughs every time you scare him.

Well it was fun Utah, until next time...

What will she look like??

I have been wanting to take more pictures of ourselves lately so we can look back on the time before we had kids and remember what it was like to be just the two of us. So we decided to take some "Sunday Selfies" yesterday. It was fun!... Well everything I do with Patrick is fun!
After looking at all of the pictures I started to think "What is our baby girl going to look like?" (Patrick and I actually ask each other this question on a daily basis) Will she have my eyes, or Patrick's eyes? My mouth or Patrick's mouth, his nose or my nose? We are just so darn excited for her to get her and to see her with our own eyes! We are down to 8 weeks left and the last 32 weeks have gone by so fast, I'm hoping that it continues to do so!

Having friends is the best!

We have made some amazing friends down here in Louisiana. We are all in similar situations in our lives so it's nice to have people to relate to. Having friends has made the transition a lot easier to settle in here. They were so nice to invite us over to their houses for dinner over the past couple of weeks. Now it was our turn to have them over! We decided to have a cookie party and have everyone bring their favorite cookies to share. They were all delicious and we had a fun night!
