Indiana - Memorial Day

Patrick and I went to visit my oldest sister and her family in Terre Haute, IN over Memorial Day weekend. I am so excited that we live so much closer to them now (even though it was still a 7 hour drive) and I hope to be able to visit them more in the future!
We got in late Saturday night, and hung out with my sister, brother-in-law, 3 nephews and new niece! Those kids are a hoot and we can never get enough of them! Sunday we went to church with them and then just relaxed and played. Monday was a very busy and very patriotic day. We started the day by visiting the cemetery where my brother-in-law's brother, Dale Griffin, is buried. He was killed 4 years ago while serving in Afghanistan. There was a short service for all the local veterans. From there we went to a pavilion that was built in honor of Dale. There was a large turn out of friends and family there to celebrate Dale's life. It was such a wonderful experience to see this small town celebrating and honoring war veterans. It was a Memorial day I will never forget.

This is Liberty Dale, named in honor of Dale

We brought the boys some toys - they loved playing with them!
 She's the happiest baby ever
 The boys love Uncle Patrick

Jack is the only one who would sit still long enough to take a picture
The Griffin's cute house

This is Dale's Bronco - they parked it outside the pavilion

 We'll be back soon Griffins!!
